A recent BIOS update from Lenovo has bricked the laptop.
Currently there is no charging light.

The flash didnt work, so i reverted back to my BIOS backup successfully. The BIOS in the chip and the BIOS backup file are identical according to windows' file compare. Hello, it seems to me that my thinkpad P50's BIOS is corrupted. I tried to boot it up and the power button would only blink 3 times green. The serial number is missing from the bottom of the chassis so I'm not sure what to do. I hope it's not the motherboard that's broken......

Good day. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong topic. I saw somebody selling a Thinkpad E495 with a Ryzen 3500U CPU near me. In the pictures the laptop is running windows 10. I contacted the seller and asked a few questions about upgradability and if it has a bios password on it. He confirmed it has a bios password. I searched through the forum, I found a guide regarding removing the bios password using the autopatcher, I also found a thread with the e495 where people requested help with unlocking the bios password.
